There is Mr.X how has recently pass CFA level 2 Exam in February 2022, And he has Started Working in the Firm as a Research analyst. In the meantime he did not registered for the CFA Level 3 Exam, So Currently he is neither the candidate nor the member of the CFA Institute.
So still he libal to follow the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards..???

In my opinion, he is not liable untill he got registered with institute for level 3 but if his firm has the policy to follow code and standards then he is liable for the same.
