Dear Sir,
Good morning! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to seek your advice regarding an important decision I have to make. I have my L1 exam scheduled for August and have been diligently preparing for it according to my plan. However, considering that I will be pursuing my Masters in the UK starting in September, I am beginning to question whether it would be wise to take the L1 exam in August.
My concern is that I believe the L1 exam is crucial as it forms the foundation of the CFA program. I don’t want to compromise my results or the knowledge I gain from the L1 exam by rushing through it before leaving for the UK. Therefore, I wanted to ask if it would be possible for me to defer my L1 exam to November 23 and take it from the UK.
My main query is whether taking the exam from a different country, in this case, the UK, is permissible if I defer it to November. I understand that there may be specific logistical considerations involved. Still, I wanted to explore this possibility to ensure I can give the exam in an environment conducive to my preparation and future academic pursuits.
I would greatly appreciate your guidance and advice on this matter. Thank you very much for your time, and I look forward to your response.
Warm regards,
Garvit Agarwal
