The investor in our case, Chan is a person who falls in tax-exempt category which means if any amount is received by her she doesn’t needs to pay tax on it & so she will receive the entire div amt to the tune of 1.50L which she will then re-invest to buy additional shares at the ex div share price i.e., 1,50,000/38.5 = 3.900 approx
