Can you post the question specifically for which you identified this bias to better answer your query.
thanks.
I have posted kindly check
I don’t think it can be regret aversion bias as no where it is shown that Cheng is having that regret feeling of chasing high resturns or so.
Closest I was able to think of apart from framing bias was Representative bias where previous year returns are shown as the representation for future year but this bias will be of the analyst not Cheng I think as analyst represnted it to Cheng.
Cheng bas framing bias mein jo usko high return aise dikha waise usne decide kr liya
I get what you are trying to say here, but the text also doesn’t seem to suggest that Cheng has that emotional bias of being left out, instead he just follows the return expectations shown by the analyst without expressing any opinion on it. If let say, after seeing those high return expectations, he would have commented some thing like ,” these returns are very lucrative and we should definitely adjust our portfolio to not miss this”. then I think definitely regret bias hota. But he didn’t commented anything and blindly followed the analyst, so just on that basis I don’t think regret applies here.
