Hie everyone
Just gave my Cfa level 1 May attempt.
And soon started looking for job.
But unable to find a way or a good process to search for jobs in finance as I have zero experience
If anyone can guide me regarding the right procedure to follow to get a good job or internship in portfolio management and equity research analyst or inv. Banking profile, it would be a great help.
Thank you
Hello Ridhi
Hope your CFA Level 1 exams went well. Would need a little more background on your work and academic profile before commenting on internship and job opportunities.
However as a general guidance.. Most opportunities open up with respect to the CFA Program once you have cleared all the three levels.. some may be there for CFA Level 2 cleared candidates.. accordingly it would be advisable if you explore opportunities to skill up..
If trading as a domain interests you, DERPO Trading program must be on your radar.. Brilliant module with tremendous learning and practical market insight on playing there options game in the real markets.. This program is absolute brilliant as it offers tremendous learning and also if played well has the potential to offer you a steady earning stream also. DO review the course details through the link below:

You could alternatively explore Aswath Damodaran’s YouTube channel to build understanding and capability in corporate finance, valuations and financial modeling. Zerodha Varsity is another free resource to build skill set in markets.
There are a host of training modules on Financial Modeling available on subscription basis also.
PowerBI is another skillset where you could explore building capability.

Bottom-line, immediately when the results are also pending job or internship opportunities would be scarce. Better, to utilize the time in upskilling and upscaling.
