- I have two questions-
1) After doing CFA can we get jobs in companies like McKinsey and Company, JP Morgan, etc?
2) Can a CFA candidate of any level get the job of Business Analyst and how is it different from Financial Analyst?

Hi Vishal,
Yes Vishal u can easily get into the investment banks named above after CFA, I have my frnds workings in them how are just CFA
And answer to second question is also Yes u can get into business analyst role
Now coming to differences Business analyst is more concerned abt the improvement in system n business model of the company
While Financial analyst is about the financial statements of companies ensure the books are upto date, helping management with KPI/KRI
U can that business analyst will work on the data provided by financial analyst
Thank you for answering my question. I know about some old class mates who started as Data analyst and are now promoted to Business Analyst. While looking for job I came accross several data analyst jobs where the qualification required was B.tech, IT based profile which is Science based qualification. What was deal with those, any idea?
Nowadays every business wants to explore the benefits of technology
So people with IT background especially on emerging technology are in greater demand
Companies are always looking for people who can combine IT & finance knowledge
