I think it would be a violation of Misrepresentation as most strict must be followed, which is CFA C&S in this case.
I thought so. But the answer is Option B – knowledge of law.

When applicable law and C&S require different, conduct; members & candidates must follow the more strict applicable law or C&S. The C&S requires attribution to all content in a report drawn from other resources. The member directly violated standard IA.
By doing so, Martins indirectly may have violated standard IC. This would be indirect since there is no indication that Martins would not have cited sources had this been authored in a different location. Martins believed he was following local law and there is no indication it was his intent to mislead.
To me: Misrepresentation could be a violation more specific to the clients
